How we choose the projects we fund
Community-led, built to last, and measurable: the three questions every project has to answer.
We receive about 300 applications a year and fund around 15. Every one has to answer three questions.
The three questions
- Who leads? The community has to own the project, not us.
- Will it last? We fund things that keep working after the ribbon is cut.
- Can we measure it? Megawatts, tonnes, dollars saved, people served.
